My name is Zuza and I am a freelance photographer based in Cambridge. I have studied photography and lived in Manchester for almost ten years and nowadays my freelancing stretches across the country. I have been documenting people doing what they love, from potters throwing pots, to lumberjacks throwing logs.
In 2015 I joined the Makers Dozen Collective in Manchester. I documented various processes of making and makers in their studios. The InSource project culminated with an exhibition in Sheffield's Made North Gallery in April 2016.
Since working with the makers I developed a strong fascination with ceramics. I currently work closely with a ceramicist Katharina Klug. I was responsible for photographing her work for Ceramic Art London 2018 and 2019. We also created a visual manual 'How to Handle a Pot', which we showed along Katharina's work at CAL 2018.
Get in touch, if you like my work and/or if you think we could work together.
